Training

Our excellence in customer training is derived from our market leading position, in depth industry knowledge, over 30 years of equipment provision and our established first-class training academy for Speedy employees.

Speedy's desire to be a world class service provider with expertise to support our customers demanded a training academy to ensure that our employees had all the mandatory and technical skills required; in addition to ensuring the development of performance and management capabilities.

With training and development at the forefront of our strategy we expanded this service to give our customers the benefit of both our training experience and our in depth knowledge of equipment and Health & Safety. In 2010 the HAE awarded Speedy a high commendation for excellence in training for our internal programme.

Delivering training to our customers is about understanding how training & development enhances performance, productivity and reduces risks; our expertise is now benefitting our customers. With nationwide coverage and over 200 safety and skills courses within our programme we are the primary choice for many national contractors.

Our skills and competency training programme supports our customers in all areas of safety, equipment-use, risk management and site management, with specialist courses for customer groups such as utilities, MOD, rail, energy and engineering.

Our team provide guidance to our customers on appropriate courses, training schedule planning, develop bespoke programmes and advise on relevant funding options.
